SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential information, such as requests you send to us as the site operator. Integration of Third-Party Services and Content

Based on our legitimate interests (i.e., our interest in the analysis, optimization, and economic operation of our online services within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR), we integrate content or service offerings from third-party providers into our online services to include their content and services, such as videos or fonts (hereinafter referred to collectively as “Content”). This always requires that the third-party providers of this Content are aware of the users’ IP addresses, as they could not send the Content to their browsers without the IP address. The IP address is therefore necessary for displaying this Content. We strive to use only Content from providers who use IP addresses solely for delivering the Content. The following provides an overview of third-party providers and their content, along with links to their privacy policies, which contain further information on data processing and, in some cases, the opt-out options already mentioned here:

Use of Web Fonts

Our website uses external fonts from Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, California 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google.” These web fonts are integrated when you access our website, which causes a Google server in the USA to also store your browser’s IP address. No cookies are sent from the website visitor to the Google Fonts API, nor is the data exchanged with other Google services (e.g., Google Search, Gmail). For performance reasons, the browser cache of website visitors stores parts of the fonts used locally. These are automatically deleted after one year. Google is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thus guarantees compliance with European data protection law – see https://www.privacyshield.gov/ Privacy Policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/ Opt-out: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/.

We use the “enhanced privacy mode” option provided by YouTube. According to YouTube, in “enhanced privacy mode,” data is only transmitted to YouTube servers when you watch the video. If you are logged into YouTube at the same time, this information will be associated with your YouTube account. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account before visiting our website. Privacy Policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/ Opt-out: https://www.google.com/settings/ads/
